It seems to me that the weather is becoming more extreme every year. The traditional seasons don’t seem to apply anymore. During my last year in Texas, I noticed that the summers were hotter and the winters colder than usual. While Texas is known for its hot summers, the heat has become more intense in recent years. There were days when it was unbearably hot, particularly during July and August.
September would bring some relief from the heat.
On 11th January 2021, Texas experienced a full day of snow, bringing joy to everyone as kids built an incredible snowman.

In February, we experienced a week of ice and snow that brought freezing cold temperatures. The electricity was cut off for many, leaving them without water. Trees cracked and fell, disrupting everyone’s lives.
It was a terrifying situation. It all began with rain, which later turned into ice, followed by snow. As you know, water and snow can be a dangerous combination.

I remember feeling extremely cold. By the third day, it had become even colder, making driving or walking impossible. I heard that people had no water because their pipes had broken. Some individuals attempted to start a fire in their homes to keep warm, but tragically, they ended up being asphyxiated.
Both the police and firefighters were unable to provide assistance because they couldn’t drive in those conditions. It was truly a tragic situation.
This year, I’ve been told that it’s been extremely hot, with temperatures reaching three digits every day. No storms haven’t been to relieve the heat or provide much-needed rain. As a result, livestock and other animals have died, and I assume that crops have also perished. It’s definitely not a pleasant situation.
In Europe, there’s the same problem. It’s been extremely hot. Europe doesn’t usually get very hot – it depends on where you are, but usually, you have a few days of burning heat, and then it cools off. But not this year.
It’s so hot, and people have died. Europe is on fire – the UK, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Spain, and Croatia, just to name a few. The fires are burning forests and killing wildlife. Eastern Europe has the same pattern. It’s like everything is going to hell. It’s kind of scary if you ask me.
I’m currently on the other side of the world, and we’re experiencing a flood due to continuous, nonstop rain day and night. All entrances to my neighborhood are now closed. I hope the rain stops soon; otherwise, I fear that the houses, including mine, will be in danger.

I hope all of you are safe from the heat or from the floods. Let’s hope the weather calms down soon.
I send a lot of hugs to all of you. Stay safe.
