Can uncertainty be used to motivate action?

Why are we hesitant?

We struggle actually to make it happen.

Can uncertainty be used to motivate action? Lately, I’ve noticed that we spend a lot of time wanting to achieve or do things, but we often struggle actually to make it happen. What exactly causes this hindrance in transitioning from yearning to taking action? And what steps can we assume to be more aware of this transition?

Process of writing my memoir😆

For some time now, I’ve been contemplating starting a project to write a memoir. However, I find myself making excuses and thinking that the timing isn’t right. I am considering hiring a coach or joining a program to receive the support I need.

I have reservations about whether I can excel in the program if it’s the right fit for me, and how much I can gain from it.

I’m weighing my options carefully to determine the best course of action for this situation. I’m uncertain about whether to commit, as it would mean stepping outside my comfort zone. So, I am presently undecided and postponing any decisions.

Taking the time to “recognize” is the initial stride towards progress.

Uncertain about what to do

Fear and uncertainty may sometimes hold us back from taking crucial steps. But it’s important to realize that taking action can empower us with the means to tackle and overcome these emotions. Through action, we can acquire knowledge and discover the solutions that we need to progress.

Ways to approach

A plan like a grocery list

One way to approach tasks is by creating a plan, like a grocery list, where you check off items as you put them in your cart. It’s completely normal to feel uncertain or afraid at times.

What do we truly desire?

Before proceeding, it’s important to consider what we truly desire. Is this matter of great importance to us? Is there a deeper significance that this may represent? Do we genuinely wish to pursue this?

Begin with a small step. Frequently, even the tiniest action can initiate progress; we tend to overlook that fact.

Life is all about perspective.

Being in action not only feels good, it starts to clear up many of our life’s stuckness.
