This restoration has helped to maintain the building’s historical value and integrity.

This Cathedral is the largest in Australia. It was built in English Gothic Revival style using honey-colored Sydney sandstone. An exquisite beauty!
The great medieval cathedrals of Europe inspired it. The building is significant as the Mother Church for Australian Catholics.
