The Best of 2024 is a collection of my travel experiences from this transformative year.
2024 was a busy year throughout New Zealand, Australia, Rarotonga, and some Asian countries. For me, every single trip is the Best. However, some were always more memorable than others; that is true! I’ll say this because the place, hotel, and people were terrific or something special in that particular itinerary. I like most of my trips and enjoy the time spent on each one of them.
I’ve got some fantastic trips in mind that I think you’re going to absolutely love!

February was an incredibly busy month for us, marked by an exciting trip to the beautiful landscapes of Rotorua in New Zealand. While in Rotorua, we took the opportunity to explore stunning attractions such as the Waimangu Volcanic Valley, where we marveled at the geothermal wonders and vibrant colors created by the mineral-rich hot springs.

We also visited Whakarewarewa, a living Māori village, where we learned about the rich culture and traditions of the Māori people, including their unique crafts, music, and traditional cooking methods using geothermal steam.
Another highlight of our Rotorua trip was attending the Summer Harvest Festival at Hobbiton. We enjoyed the festive atmosphere, complete with delightful food and engaging activities that brought the world of The Lord of the Rings to life. This experience was so memorable that we’ve already made plans to return to Hobbiton in 2025 to relive the magic.
